Based on the model of the Municipal Council, the Conseil Municipal Jeunes allows Manosquin children and adolescents to actively participate in the life or their commune by proposing actions. Youth elected during their mandate learn about a maximum amount of organisations and associations present in the city. The youth obviously have their own projects but also invest in actions already planned. The CMJ consists of 33 youth (from CM1 to the 3rd) elected by their peers from all educational institutions of the city. The Conseil Municipal Jeunes keeps the voice of the youth in mind in order to allow them to participate in the life of the community and bring awareness to civicism and citizenship.
