The Gestion du Domaine Public Department undertakes tasks related to the occupation, of public areas owned by the city, by individuals and professionals. This department is responsible for the management of requests for road occupancy, the organisation of fairs and markets, management of car parks and provides legal and regulatory developments relating to occupation of the public areas. In partnership with certain institutional partners such as the Parc Naturel Régional du Luberon, the G.D.P. ensure the drafting and monitoring of the implementation of local advertising rules. It is also the the reference department in terms of regulations for restaurant terraces and cafés. The department manages car parks and parking in general (”zones bleues”, disabled parking spaces, parking metres, etc.). It also administers local advertising tax and the management of local associations and the Salle des Fêtes Osco Manosco.
